I am originally from the Washington, DC area and moved to Denver in 2017. This is my 13th year teaching and I am excited to join the community at Compassion Road Academy this year! I have a background in teaching Humanities, encompassing both English and Social Studies, at a range of grade levels. I will be teaching African-American History, History of Power, Conflict, and Healing, and General Psychology. My goal is to root every day in student engagement – giving students the voice and opportunities they need to express themselves and develop important skills for the future. Outside of school, my passions include playing music, riding my bike, watching soccer, and traveling.
